Manufacture/Industry/ Infrastructure

Hundreds of federal, state and local Australian government grants and loans are available for Manufacture and Industry sectors some examples of funding available include:

The Enhanced Project By-law Scheme

EPBS provides an opportunity for Australian industry to access tariff duty concessions on eligible goods for significant projects in the mining, resource processing, agriculture, food processing, food packaging, manufacturing, gas supply, power supply, and water supply industries where certain conditions apply.

Fundamental to EPBS are Australian Industry Participation plans which encourage the use of Australian industry in projects and global supply chains through the provision of full, fair and reasonable opportunity to Australian industry.

The R&D Tax Incentive

Thousands of Australian small businesses could boost their operations and their bottom line by taking greater advantage of R&D Tax Incentive to help create new products and ways of operating.

The R&D Tax Incentive replaced the R&D Tax Concession from 1 July 2011. It provides targeted research and development (R&D) tax offsets designed to encourage more companies to engage in R&D.

The R&D Tax Incentive aims to:

  • boost competitiveness and improve productivity across the Australian economy
  • encourage industry to conduct research and development activities that may not otherwise have been conducted
  • provide business with more predictable, less complex support
  • improve the incentive for smaller firms to engage in research and development.
