Federal, State and Local Australian government grants and loans are available for Sport and Recreation sectors some examples of funding available include:
Local Sporting Champions Program
This program is designed to assist juniors who find it difficult meeting the ongoing cost competing, coaching or officiating at official national sporting organisation or endorsed school sport (Australia national championships) towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment. Successful applicants will receive Grants of $500 for individuals and $3000 for teams.
Strengthening the World Game
The Strengthening the world game program will provide funding to assist local Victorian football (soccer) clubs and organisations to upgrade existing or develop new facilities to maximize their capacity to cater for additional participation in soccer.
Funding up to $100,00 per assessment period are available!
Each year the Australian Government sets aside billions of dollars for industry funding, and every year an allocated amount of that money is dedicated to the Sport and Recreational Businesses.
